CROWN C5 SERIES FORKLIFTS CROP UP AT WORLD AG EXPO 2015NEW BREMEN, Ohio (February 10, 2015) – Crown Equipment Corporation, one of the world’s largest material handling companies, recently announced a partnership with International Agri-Center’s World Ag Expo to supply the material handling equipment needed to organize and execute the annual event. This year’s expo will be held February 10-12 in Tulare, California. A fleet of 30 Crown C-5 Series pneumatic forklifts will be used throughout the three-day show to help set-up exhibitor booths, facilitate show logistics and complete teardown as the event concludes. The Crown C-5 Series is built to withstand variable conditions in both indoor and outdoor environments. The forklift is equipped with an industrial-strength engine and power brake system, as well as optional on-demand cooling system, to keep the trucks running in dirty and hot applications. “Many of our customers are part of California’s prominent agricultural industry, and we know what a vital role agriculture plays in this region,” said Dana Bowen, sales manager for Crown Lift Trucks, Central California. “These customers need forklifts that deliver reliable performance and power – and the same is true for World Ag Expo. We spent a lot of time working with show organizers to learn about their needs to help ensure they have the durable equipment that stands up to the rigors of transporting exhibitor equipment to the exhibition areas.” In addition, Bowen is working closely with the show staff and a team of volunteers to help instruct forklift operators on safety procedures. “Working with Crown has been a great addition for us this year,” said Jerry Sinift, chief executive officer, World Ag Expo. “There is a lot that goes into coordinating logistics for an event of this magnitude, and the team at Crown has been a great help in anticipating our needs and providing the reliable equipment we need to help streamline event logistics.” Bowen and additional Crown staff will be located in booth #B10 throughout the show to meet with attendees and share new product developments, forklift service and attachment options, and racking solutions for the agricultural industry. Crown will have both internal combustion (C-5 Series with hard and soft cabin options) and electric forklifts (FC 4500 Series and RC 5500 Series) on display at the booth. The International Agri-Center is a non-profit corporation formed in 1976 to produce World Ag Expo and to promote California’s agriculture industry. The International Agri-Center is led by an all-volunteer board of directors, a full-time staff and more than 1,200 volunteers who dedicate their time to World Ag Expo, the California Antique Farm Equipment Show and other International Agri-Center programs.
