The HMF 1800-K Series - a sturdy solution focusing on flexibility and safety
HMF’s latest generation of loader cranes in the 18 tm range have been especially developed and designed to solve many different lifting tasks.
Advanced methods of calculation have been used when designing the crane’s components and geometry, to ensure that the cranes offer a power-to-weight ratio amongst the best on the market. The boom system is available with 15° over-bending between the main boom and the jib, which provides high flexibility for demanding tasks in narrow places, in particular through low gates and windows.
Furthermore the HMF 1800-K Series is equipped with a dual Power Plus link arm system, which not only ensures an excellent lifting capacity, but also makes it possible both to lift a heavy load close to the column and also lift bulky items at long reach and in high positions. Add to this an extensive range of peripheral options, which gives the possibility of extending the functionality of the crane considerably.
HMF focuses heavily on crane safety and incorporates “safety first” in all crane functions. HMF offers, as the only supplier on the market, a totally integrated safety system. The very user-friendly CE safety system, RCL 5300, only intervenes when absolutely necessary. This way the system underlines that safety has to function in collaboration with the crane operator and must be his auxiliary tool in case of critical lifting tasks.
HMF 1800-K is available with radio remote control, which means that the operator can operate the crane from any place he likes. This is how the crane operator obtains optimum versatility carrying out lifting tasks, because he is able to move freely depending on the development of the task.
